Core Beliefs
We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the foundation and authority for matters of faith and doctrine.
We believe in one God, existing in three Persons:
The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ, and that He is true God and man. He died on the cross for our sins. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father and is now our High Priest and Advocate.
We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin by one man’s disobedience and are therefore lost. Only through the finished work of Jesus Christ, and though the inner work of the Holy Spirit can man’s salvation occur.
We believe that salvation is the free gift of God, entirely separate from man’s works, and possessed by any who have faith in and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
We believe in Baptism by submersion as a memorial to Christ’s Life, Death, and Resurrection. It is to be observed as an outward sign of an already present work of salvation.
We believe that the Lord’s Supper is to be taken often, and it is a symbol of Christ’s finished work of the cross.
We believe in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and
that no man knows the time nor the hour.
We believe in the five-fold ministry operating currently in the local church. That is there are Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the center of the Christian Faith.
We believe in the fruits and the gifts of the Holy Spirit in operation in the modern church.
We believe in the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who is the third person of the trinity.
